So who is wioota? Well my offline name is Daniel Walters. I manage a team responsible for the presentation technologies used by Hitwise. We develop middleware and presentation code which drives the reports which we deliver via web, email and PDF. I also project manage and do functional design for numerous Hitwise products. I’ve been at Hitwise for almost 5 years. I have previously worked for Sausage Software, Systek, Beam International, Blaze Ltd, Virtual Communities, contracted for ThatGame (now IRgurus it seems) and Atari.

I am conversant in PHP, CSS, HTML/XHTML, JS and SQL. I spend much more time these days thinking about software development processes and better-practices than I do doing actual coding. We develop OOP, data-driven applications with an evolving SDLC driven by user feedback.
